Our pet sitting staff takes the time to get to know and gain the trust of your kitty. This special attention, delivered immediately upon their first visit, greatly reduces the stress of a new environment. We have over 8 years experience in pet sitting, feline care, boarding and kennels. Special attention is given to each and every guest. We enjoy the petting, brushing and attention more than your cat does. Quiet time is essential for cats, so we ensure your pet has ample quiet time for a relaxing cat nap.

The Hotel 4 Cats provides 3 Level Cat Condos and a multi cat family Cat Palace. Our Mooresville Hotel has a tranquil setting with soft "cat music” playing throughout the day. Your kitty will be entertained viewing our bird feeders that we strategically place at every viewing window. You will be comfortable knowing your pets will be cared for in our safe and affordable Cat Only Boarding Hotel. Stop by and visit your kitty’s future "Home Away From Home".

Kitty Kabs

We now offer Taxi Cab service for your cat.  We call it Kitty Kabs!  Our Kitty Kab driver will make arrangements to pick up or deliver your cat to and from our Hotel 4 Cats.  Call our office at 704-664-MEOW for more info on Kitty Kabs.

Pet Sitting Services

Our cat boarding facility provides more than a place for your cat to stay while you are out of town on vacation. We can administer your pet’s medicine on a schedule prescribed by your veterinarian with care and expertise. Our staff has been trained on the care of cats, their health and nutrition. Proper care is taken to reduce the stress of introducing medicine, food and grooming, so your pet can relax and enjoy their visit.

All condos are cleaned daily, with fresh litter, water and food delivered twice a day, or more often if needed. Every condo is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests’ visits, using only pet friendly cleaning solutions

We take pride in the “Tender Loving Care” approach delivered to every guest in our hotel. Many of our pet owners say their cat is more relaxed after a visit in our boarding facility. As cat owners and lovers, we understand what makes cat happy and stress free. Providing a tranquil environment during their visit is essential.

We offer local pick up services for the Troutman, Mooresville, Davidson and Cornelius areas for a minimal fee. We will pick up in Statesville, Huntersville, Charlotte and other areas for an additional fee. We charge by the mile after the first 20 miles. Contact us for specific rates for our pick up services.

History

In the fall of 2004 I was working in the corporate world with very little satisfaction. While my wife Marge was volunteering at a horse rescue farm nearby, we decided to incorporate our love of animals into a business. For years we had cared for family and friends' cats in our home with great enjoyment. So with that in mind and with the experience that we gained, Simply Cats Hotel was born.

Word traveled throughout the area and Simply Cats Hotel became synonymous with quality feline boarding. People had confidence knowing that their kitties were being watched over by a staff that really cared. They would bring their cats in for a variety of reasons including vacations, home renovations, hospital stays, and house parties.

Our business grew through word of mouth and some advertising. We came to a crossroads in our business where we needed to expand due to our growing guest list. However, when our first Grandchild was born, all things changed. We put Simply Cats Hotel on the market, sold it, and relocated to Mooresville, NC. When we first arrived to the Lake Norman area, we could not help but notice that there were many dog and cat kennels, but no Cat Only boarding facilities. So we decided to start 'The Hotel 4 Cats' and provide our pet boarding services to the Greater Lake Norman area. ~ Chris Colas
